Terms of Use

Linqwire.comTM (or the "Web Site" ; or the "Company") is a RSS media service designed to provide users access to a vast variety of RSS Feeds through out the world wide web in one easy to navigate website.

Users aged 13 or older may use the Website, but minors under the age of 18 must gain the consent of a parent or legal guardian, unless elsewhere prohibited by law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 (to include minors with or without parental/guardian consent. It assumed that all users have authorization to user the website when registering or browsing our services and content).

Registration is not required to browse, search or consume aggregated or native content within Linqwire.com, however you are required to regaister if you intend to utilize the Linqwire platform services including, but not limited to: Network Feed, Bookmark Stories, Save Topics, Messaging & Following Feeds.


Email Permissions

When you register a new account with Linqwire.com, you are required to provide a current and active email address. You acknowledge that you are the authorized user of the email address you provide at the time of registration, or at any time during your membership in which you may change or add an email address to your account. Furthermore, you authorize Linqwire.com to send notification emails on your behalf, and to use the first and last name you provided when you registered your account (and which appear on your profile), your likeness and profile image within each notification email sent to any email contact you provide to Linqwire.com.

Email & Marketing Messages – You hereby authorize Linqwire.com to send you daily email newsletters that provide content that is consistent with our products and services, as well as other notifications related to news updates that include, but are not limited to: breaking news alerts; trending topics & news alerts; individual news stories; suggestions related to individual products or services on Linqwire; updates to products; marketing messages related to Linqwire products or services, or from third party partners. Some or all of these communications may include marketing ad units, sponsored stories or messages that may be targeted to you based on your previous behavior within Linqwire (which is outlines in detail in our Privacy Policy). Additionally, you authorize Linqwire.com to send you notifications from other registered users that include, but are not limited to invitations and possible several reminders to join a registered user's network, channel or other member service, if a user comments on a thread in which you are participating in, comments to a post you published to your profile, another user's profile, public or private channel, or any other service on Linqwire the allows user submissions. You can manage your subscription to these email messages at any time by logging into your account, and selecting the "Edit Profile" functionality.

Invitation To Join Linqwire Emails - When you choose to invite one or more of your personal connections that are not already registered with Linqwrie.com to join your Linqwire.com social network, you must first connect your email contacts list, or manually submit individual emails. When you do this, you authorize Linqwire.com to send up to 3 emails over the course of 6 weeks on your behalf to such email contacts that you provide. The recipients will have the opportunity to stop receiving correspondence via the opt-out functionality contained in each email. 

Scheduled currently as follows, but subject to change: 

1 invitation request immediately

1 reminder email within 1 week following initial invitation request 

1 final reminder 1 month following the initial reminder notification 

They will stop receiving these notices in 1 of 2 ways: 

1.) They accept your invitation request to join Linqwire.com or 

2.) They opt out from any of the email invites.  

You also acknowledge that you have authorization to send to these recipients, and that you alone assume all liability if these emails are reported as spam in any formal complaint or civil action, and that Linqwire.com assumes no liability thereof. Furthermore, you authorize Linqwire.com to send these emails on your behalf, and to use the first and last name you provided when you registered your account (and which appear on your profile to include any changes from the time of registration), your likeness and profile image within each invitation email sent to any email contact you provide to Linqwire.com. You also acknowledge that if you send any new invitations via our platform (either manually inputting a repeated email address, or sending a new invite via the email provider connection) you are re-initiating the reminder email cycle, which means that a recipient may in fact receive duplicate emails, but each cycle will not send more than 3 emails over the course of 6 weeks. So to re-iterate, if you send a new invite to an email contact, that contact will be set into a new invitation cycle which may result in more than the original 3 scheduled emails received. 

When your email account is connected to Linqwire.com, our system stores your email contacts into a secured database for 2 purposes. 

1.) To send the above mentioned email invitations to join your social network. 

2.) To inform you when one of your email contacts has joined Linqwire.com, and to recommend joining that user’s network. 

We will never send emails other than invitation emails to these recipients, or any continued correspondence without your permission. These email addresses are automatically deleted from our servers if you decide to terminate you Linqwire account.

Company Related & Non-Marketing Notification Emails – You authorize Linqwire to update you periodically of various company related changes or product offerings (including but not limited to: Emergency Notifications, Breaking News, Emergency News Alerts, Terms of Use or Privacy Policy updates, website maintenance or outages, legal notifications, new product offerings, additions to our services, new partnerships with a third party, etc) via the email address you provide during registration, or to any other email address you provide during your membership of the service. You cannot opt-out of these email notifications as long as you are a member of Linqwire.com, however you will be removed from such notifications if you delete your Linqwire.com account.

Ownership and Trademarks

Linqwire.comTM and the Web Site are owned by Linqwire, LLC. All other trademarks, product names, and company names and logos appearing on this Web Site are the property of their respective owners & any and all of their Affiliates. "Affiliates" are those persons or entities directly or indirectly controlling, controlled by, or under common control with the Company.

Proprietary Rights

You acknowledge that Linqwire.comTM contains information, data, software, photographs, graphs, videos, typefaces, graphics, music, sounds, and other material (collectively "Content") that are protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other proprietary rights, and that these rights are valid and protected in all forms, media and technologies existing now or hereinafter developed. All third-party aggregated and original content is copyrighted as a collective work under the U.S. copyright laws and held by its respective owners/creators, or other third party licensors may own a copyright in the selection, coordination, arrangement, and enhancement of such Content. Linqwire.comTM claims exclusive & indefinite ownership of all content created by it's employees, contractors, editors, contracted partnerships, or it's Affiliates, unless otherwise negotiated or stated. You may not modify, remove, delete, augment, add to, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works from, or in any way exploit any of the Content, in whole or in part, without expressed written permission form Linqwire of a third-party content creator. If no specific restrictions are displayed, you may in some cases, use the content only for your personal non-commercial use and make copies of select portions of the Content, provided that the copies are made only for your personal use and that you maintain any notices contained in the Content, such as all copyright notices, trademark legends, or other proprietary rights notices. Except as provided in the preceding sentence or as permitted by the fair use privilege under the U.S. copyright laws (see e.g. 17 U.S.C. Section 107), you may not upload, post, reproduce, or distribute in any way Content protected by copyright, or other proprietary right, without obtaining permission of the owner of the copyright or other propriety right. In addition to the foregoing, use of any software Content shall be governed by the software license agreement accompanying such software.

Third Party Content on the Web Site

Linqwire.comTM is a distributor and not a publisher of some Content supplied by third parties on the Web Site. Linqwire.comTM does not have editorial control over such Content. Any opinions, advice, statements, services, offers, or other information that constitutes part of the Content expressed or made available by third parties, including Providers, Merchants, Sponsors, Licensors, or any user of the Web Site, are those of the respective authors or distributors and not of the Company or its Affiliates or any of its officers, directors, employees, or agents. NEITHER THE COMPANY NOR ITS AFFILIATES, NOR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS, NOR ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING ANY PROVIDER, MERCHANT, SPONSOR, LICENSOR, OR ANY OTHER USER OF Linqwire.com, GUARANTEES THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR USEFULNESS OF ANY CONTENT, NOR ITS MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

In many instances, the Content available through the Web Site represents the opinions and judgments of the respective Provider, Merchant, Sponsor, Licensor, subscriber, customer, or user, whether or not under contract with the Company. The Company neither endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice, submission, posting, or statement made on the Web Site by anyone other than authorized Company employees. Under no circumstances shall the Company, or its Affiliates, or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, or agents, be liable for any loss or damage caused by your reliance on any Content or other information obtained through the Web Site. It is your responsibility to evaluate the information, opinion, advice, or other Content available through the Web Site.


Linqwire.comTM is not responsible for and makes no warranties, express or implied, as to the User Content or the accuracy and reliability of the User Content posted on or through the Linqwire.comTM database, whether caused by Users of the Linqwire.comTM Services or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Linqwire.comTM Services and such User Content does not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of Linqwire.comTM.  Web displays and third party RSS feeds posted on Linqwire.comTM may contain links to other websites.  Linqwire.comTM is not responsible for the content, accuracy or opinions expressed on such websites, and such websites are not necessarily investigated, monitored or checked for accuracy or completeness by Linqwire.comTM.  Inclusion of any linked website on the Linqwire.comTM Services does not imply approval or endorsement of the linked website by Linqwire.comTM.  When you access these third party sites, you do so at your own risk.

Linqwire.comTM and all information and materials included in the Sites are only for your personal use. You will not use the Sites or any information or materials included in the Sites for commercial purposes. You will not use Linqwire.comTM or any information or materials included in the website in any way that is unlawful, or harms Linqwire.comTM and/or any other company within its RSS feed database. Linqwire.comTM prohibits to the maximum extent allowable the resale, redistribution, and use of the information or materials included in the website for commercial purposes. You may not engage in the practices of "screen scraping," "database scraping," or any other activity with the purpose of obtaining lists of users or other information from Linqwire.comTM. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through Linqwire.comTM.

User Submissions

Linqwire.comTM does not claim ownership of any Content you submit or make available for inclusion on the Web Site. However, with respect to all such Content, including, without limitation, creative ideas, suggestions, content, postings, artwork, material or other submissions whether via email, feedback, a public forum or otherwise (collectively, "User Submissions"). You own all of the content, feedback, and personal information you provide to us and/or submit as a blog post, channel post, profile post, comment or shared post, but you also grant us a non-exclusive license to it.

We'll honor the choices you make about who gets to see your information and content.

You promise to only provide information and content that you have the right to share, and that your Linqwire.com profile will be truthful.

As between you and Linqwire, LLC, you own the content and information that you submit or post to the Services and you are only granting Linqwire, LLC the following non-exclusive license: A worldwide, transferable and sublicensable right to use, copy, modify, distribute, publish, and process, information and content that you provide through our Services, without any further consent, notice and/or compensation to you or others. These rights are limited in the following ways:

  • You can end this license for specific content by deleting such content from the Services, or generally by closing your account, except (a) to the extent you shared it with others as part of the Service and they copied or stored it and (b) for the reasonable time it takes to remove from backup and other systems.
  • We will not include your content in advertisements for the products and services of others (including sponsored content) to others without your separate consent. However, we have the right, without compensation to you or others, to serve ads near your content and information, and your comments on sponsored content may be visible as noted in the Privacy Policy.
  • We will get your consent if we want to give others the right to publish your posts beyond the Service. However, other Members and/or Visitors may access and share your content and information, consistent with your settings and degree of connection with them.
  • While we may edit and make formatting changes to your content (such as translating it, modifying the size, layout or file type or removing metadata), we will not modify the meaning of your expression.
  • Because you own your content and information and we only have non-exclusive rights to it, you may choose to make it available to others, including under the terms of a Creative Commons license.
  • You agree that we may access, store and use any information that you provide in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Policy and your privacy settings.

By submitting suggestions or other feedback regarding our Services to Linqwire, you agree that Linqwire, LLC can use and share (but does not have to) such feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.

You agree to only provide content or information if that does not violate the law nor anyone's rights (e.g., without violating any intellectual property rights or breaching a contract). You also agree that your profile information will be truthful. Linqwire, LLC may be required by law to remove certain information or content in certain countries.

You also warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to any User Submissions you submit or post on or to the Web Site or otherwise transmit to the Company and that our public posting and other public or private use of such User Submissions will not infringe the rights of any third party. You acknowledge that you are not entitled now, or in the future, to any compensation for any User Submissions you may submit or post and you waive the benefits of any provisions of law known as "droit moral" (moral rights) or any similar laws.

No User Submissions, regardless of how they may be marked, will be received by us in confidence, nor shall they be subject to any express or implied obligation of confidentially. Neither Linqwire.comTM, or its Affiliates, nor their respective officers, directors, agents or employees shall be liable for any use or disclosure of any User Submissions.

You and your successors assigns hereby waive any and all rights and remedies you may have against Linqwire.comTM, or its Affiliates, or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, or agents now or in the future, and hereby release Linqwire.comTM, its Affiliates, and any of their respective officers, directors, agents and employees from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damages, obligations, losses and expenses of whatever kind, (collectively "Claims") relating to providing, posting, transmitting or making available through the Web Site the User Submissions to the Company, or the Company receiving, evaluating, and utilizing the User Submissions. You further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Company, its Affiliates, and any of their respective officers, directors, agents and employees from and against any and all Claims, including, without limitation, Claims that any User Submissions misappropriate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, and reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses, which result or arise from, or are based on, the receipt, evaluation or use of User Submissions by the Company, its Affiliates or its third party licensees.

In addition, Linqwire.comTM may, in our sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice to you, suspend or terminate any public forum, any other portion of the Web Site, or the subscription or registration of any user who violates any of these terms and conditions of use, any of the rules, regulations or guidelines or for any other behavior that we in our sole discretion believe is inappropriate.


We may terminate or suspend your access to the Sites at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon such termination or suspension, your right to use the Sites will immediately cease.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for the Linqwire, LLC website located at www.Linqwire.com, the Linqwire, LLC mobile application, or elements of Linqwire, LLC's technology platform (e.g., third party website widgets & software utilizing a Linqwire.com API) present on its client's or partners' websites (collectively referred to hereafter as the "Website"). Linqwire, LLC, Inc., the provider of the Service and Website (referred to as "us" or "we"), is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who navigate to, or otherwise use the Service and/or Website (hereafter, "Users" or "you"). 

To avoid any confusion, Users should understand that, while we own and operate the Service and Website and certain other websites (e.g., Linqwire.com), we do not own or operate websites owned and operated by third parties who may avail themselves of the Linqwire, LLC Service, or whose content is aggregated within the Linqwire platform, APIs or Mobile Applications (collectively referred to hereafter as the "Third Party Websites.") Linqwire.com is a content distribution service that aggregates content from Third Party Websites and then organizes this content to be followed and consumed by a digital audience. Linqwire, LLC does not claim ownership of such content or any copyright of the third-party content (unless specifically stated or agreed).

This Privacy Policy is intended to inform Users about our collection, use, storage, and disclosure, destruction and disposal of information that we collect or record in the course of providing the Website and the Linqwire, LLC Service. Please note, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of Third Party Websites and they are under no obligation to comply with this Privacy Policy. Before visiting Third Party Websites, and before providing the User's Linqwire, LLC or any other information to any party that operates or advertises on Third Party Websites, Users should review the privacy policy and practices of that website to determine how information collected from Users will be handled. Please further note, depending on a User's particular interaction with us (e.g., Users who solely navigate the Website versus Users who create an account and use the Linqwire, LLC Service at Third Party Websites), different portions of this policy may apply to Users at different times.

By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound to all the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Website's Terms of Service. Types of Information Collected and Uses of Collected Information - We collect two types of information from and about Users: Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information.

Personally Identifiable Information:

We do not automatically collect any Personally Identifiable Information or Sensitive Information without your consent. When you create a Linqwire.com account and use the Linqwire, LLC Service, you will be asked to provide certain Personally Identifiable Information so that we can verify that you are in fact the authorized individual that is registering the account.  Personally Identifiable Information is information that identifies a specific individual, including, without limitation, first and last name, mailing address, e-mail address (including, without limitation, .mil, .gov, .edu, .org, .net e-mail addresses), telephone number, and date of birth. The decision to share specific items of your Personally Identifiable Information with the Linqwire, LLC is yours and yours alone. You can elect to provide all or only some of the information requested by the Website during the registration process. and at any time you may decide to remove some of the information that you previously provided However, if you decline to provide any of the above information, you may not be able to register for a Linqwire.com Account. In addition to using your Personally Identifiable Information to provide the Linqwire, LLC Service, we may also use this information to troubleshoot, resolve disputes, accomplish administrative tasks, contact you, enforce our agreements with you, including the Website's Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable law, and cooperate with law enforcement activities. In addition, we reserve the right to audit your eligibility; to audit user accounts for; and to prevent duplicate Linqwire.com Account's from being created with the same information.

We will not share or sell any personally identifiable information gathered from our users. All information collected from our users will be used for internal use only in order to provide constant quality from Linqwire.comTM and its operators. By submitting such personal information as indicated on our "registration form" you acknowledge Linqwire.comTM has permission to contact you via email, on certain occasions to inform you of updates to our website, deliver daily newletters or special offers made by us or advertising partners, but all information will remain privately held by Linqwire.comTM and not formally or partially disclosed to any 3rd party or advertising company without proper notification to all current users via email or policy changing notice.

We reserve the right to disclose your Personally Identifiable Information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website; enforce or apply this Privacy Policy, our Website Terms of Use or other agreements; or investigate, prevent, or take action suspected or actual prohibited activities, including but not limited to, fraud and situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or to prevent financial loss to any person or entity; or otherwise protect the rights, property or safety of the Website, its Users or others.

This Privacy Policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you on www.linqwire.com. Other websites, including Third Party Websites, may be accessible through this Website have their own privacy policies and data collection, use and disclosure practices. If you link to any such website, we urge you review such website's Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third parties.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information:

Non-Personally Identifiable Information is information that does not identify a specific User. This type of information may include things like the Uniform Resource Locator ("URL") of the website you visited before coming to the Website, the URL of the website you visit after leaving the Website, the type of browser you are using, your Internet Protocol ("IP") address, occupation, language, unique device identifier, approximately geographic location, and time zone. We, and/or our authorized third party service providers and advertisers, may automatically collect this information when you visit our Website through the use of electronic tools like Cookies and Web beacons or Pixel tags or location based capabilities on your mobile device, including those described in this Privacy Policy. Release of Non-Personally Identifiable Information:

We may disclose or share Non-Personally Identifiable Information with Third Party Service Providers and Affiliates. For example, we may share aggregated demographic information, website behavior data, and/or website search data (which does not include any Personally Identifiable Information) with "Third Party Advertisers" or "Third Party Advertising Companies" and other parties as provided below:

We may use this data internally or partner with Third Party Advertising Companies to serve ads or targeted content when you visit our Website. These companies may use Non-Personally Identifiable Information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide, through the use of network tags, content, video, special offers, or advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you. Some of these Third Party Advertising Companies may be advertising networks that are members of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI"). We also use Third Party Service Providers to track and analyze Non-Personally Identifiable usage and volume statistical information from our Users to administer our Website and constantly improve its quality. We may also publish this information for promotional purposes or as a representative audience for Advertisers. Please note that this is not Personally Identifiable as defined above, only general summaries of the activities of our Users. Such data is collected on our behalf, and is owned and used by us.

We may share your information in a business transfer:

As with any other business, we could merge with, or be acquired by, another company, or we may file for protection under applicable bankruptcy laws in the future. In such event, Users information obtained and maintained by the Website, including Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information, will transfer to a successor entity in connection with the corporate merger, consolidation, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other corporate change. User information submitted prior to any such transfer would remain subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy (as it existed on the date of the submission). However, User information submitted after a transfer to a successor entity may be subject to a new Privacy Policy adopted by the successor entity.

We encourage you to promptly update your Personally Identifiable Information if they change via the "Edit Profile" section on Linqwire.com, where you also have the ability to manage your email & notifications subscriptions. You cannot opt-out of Administrative Emails/Notifications. However, you have the ability to opt-out from receiving Promotional & Newsletter Emails. 

You may ask to have the information on your account deleted or removed; however, we may keep track of certain information if required by law. In addition, in may be impossible for us to completely delete all of your information because we periodically back-up information. You can also request profile deletion and/or notification subscriptions to be changed by our staff at info@linqwire.com.

Security of Information:

We take security seriously and take numerous precautions to protect the security of Personally Identifiable Information. You can access your Personally Identifiable Information on our Website through a password and your email address. This password is encrypted. We recommend that you do not share your password with anyone. In addition, your Personally Identifiable Information reside on a secure server to which only select personnel and contractors have access.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we employ commercially reasonable security measures to protect data and seek to partner with service providers that do the same, we cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted to or from the Website, and are not responsible for the actions of any third parties that may receive any such information.

Data Tracking:

Cookies - To facilitate and customize your experience with the Website, we store cookies on your computer. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a User's computer for record-keeping purposes which contains information about that User. We use cookies to save you time while using the Website, remind us who you are, surface relevant or suggested content, deliver advertisements (either from third-part websites or internally) and track and target user interests in order to provide a more customized experience. Other Tracking Devices - We may use other industry standard technologies like pixel tags and web beacons to track your use of our Website pages and promotions, or we may allow our Third Party Service Providers to use these devices on our behalf. Pixel tags and web beacons are tiny graphic images placed on certain pages on our Website, or in our emails that allow us to determine whether you have performed a specific action.
